900+. Which is more than nine hundred! So much of your own music has been submitted to us for our Selector competition so that we can finally continue what we started two years ago before coron even threw a giga pebble in the middle of our plans.
There were quite a few applicants from our previous triple compilation, but this year you’ve really overachieved yourselves, which we’re crazy about, because that means the joy of creation, the motivation to create, isn’t just working in a dozen people at all. At the same time, you put us in a serious position, and jurying from dusk till dawn started with already well-known musicians, and the list is finally ready - the lessons of which are summarized in the following video in the KERET blog:
It wasn’t an easy ride, in return the next Telekom Electronic Beats compilation album will paint a nice picture of where the country’s most progressive, often undiscovered musicians in their early twenties are heading.
After all, a POP album with a spectrum of deeply emotional electronic R&B to volcanic hyperpop has been chosen, the CLUB section includes acidic minimal, tricky newfunk and industrial-blasting ravetechno, and the EXPERI range is the strongest of all, each track, one by one is at level of production for which record labels would shovel wildly in international waters as well.
You can find the list of the names of the winners here, they deserve applause! Congratulation!
