Last year, the first album of Flanger Kids, a group of couch-slumping indie pop artists formed by Panka Szczuka and Fanny Gyarmati, was released, and now the still very lovable sequel titled B-Side has arrived.
The songs on the new album examine various aspects of human relationships, whether it's the perspective of an outsider (Little People), the desire for mutual understanding and the obstacles that come with it (Flawed), or the oppressive feeling of responsibility for others (Submarine). In addition, the material also includes lighter songs, such as the bossa nova-inspired Flashback and More Cowbell pls.
We are especially proud of Flanger Kids, as they first appeared on our first Electronic Beats compilation of 2020 on the POPPING album, after they entered our competition - since then the girls have had quite a well-rounded career, and our talent search program SZELEKTOR is already past its third edition, which was released this spring.
