The Italian composer, known for his cosmically heart-wrenching analog soundscapes - who was also one of the most memorable performers at the first INOTA Festival last year at the Várpalota power plant - announced the news on his Instagram the other day that she will be the number one curator of the music program in 2025 and 2026.

Last year, the first album of Flanger Kids, a group of couch-slumping indie pop artists formed by Panka Szczuka and Fanny Gyarmati, was released, and now the still very lovable sequel titled B-Side has arrived.

Many people may have known Cabrio Cat from our 2020 compilation thanks to this synthesizer-intoxicated, life-positive song, but they didn't sit in a sealed cardboard box afterwards, but remained active: for example, they took us for a night drive and even turned it into a song when they were feeling really good.

In August, we gathered three times at the Festival of Telekomosok, starting at the Kreinbacher estate at the foot of Somló, from where we traveled to the sandy shores of the Körös-Torok, and at the weekend at Kisnánai Castle, we ended the summer with a concert by the acoustic trio Carson Coma, among others.

We keep rolling, another week, another stop! This weekend we visited Körös-torok in Csongrád, where Jazzbois, Cserihanna and Platon Karataev performed on a waterfront reminiscent of a Mediterranean world. Before them, Tolo & Falcao from LavaLava and Vatsanah warmed up, and Subogate held the finale.

At the time of the coronavirus pandemic, our SZELEKTOR project, which started as a liberating response to confinement, has now reached its third round, in which we set out to find the most exciting new music in the country.

Last year, shapes of the past and the future merged into an exceptionally original unity in the stunning grounds of the Inota thermal power plant. One of the highlights of our festival was the opening of the enormous Turbine Hall, towering over us, and the idea was already in the air: we have to shake this giant again.

This new Electronic Beats compilation, available on all streaming platforms, is a celebration of these talents, and while we're at it, we're also going to turn it into a real celebration in the heart of the 8th district: three rooms, three categories, level 1000 goodvibes!

A few weeks ago we promised to come up with something new. Something that will initiate new dialogues, support artistic innovation and claim iconic spaces for new voices we believe need to be heard more clearly.

There were quite a few applicants from our previous triple compilation, but this year you’ve really overachieved yourselves, which we’re crazy about, because that means the joy of creation, the motivation to create, isn’t just working in a dozen people at all. At the same time, you put us in a serious position, and jurying from dusk till dawn started with already well-known musicians, and the list is finally ready.
